Oceanography is my profession. Photography is my love. I trekked the Tour du Mont Blanc (TMB) in the summer of 2021, which was a challenging and memorable experience during this pandemic. The TMB is one of the most famous long-distance treks in the world, covering a distance of roughly 176 km with 10 km of ascent/descent. The TMB passes through France, Switzerland, and Italy, bursting with epic alpine scenery—mountains, glaciers, meadows, wildlife, rivers, and lakes. I want to share this photo from the trek.
