Submission guidelines and official rules
By registering and entering the Annual Photography Awards you hereby accept Terms and Conditions listed below.
ENTRY FEES & DEADLINES
• Final Closing Deadline: December 15th, 2024
• Entry Fees: $30 for single photo / $40 for series (up to 8 photos)

• Winners announcement: February 23rd, 2025
SUBMISSION SPECIFICATIONS
• File format: JPEG
• Longest dimension: 1200 pixels
• Colour space: grayscale or RGB (sRGB or AdobeRGB)
• Restrictions: no borders, no signatures and watermarks
GENERAL
All entries must be submitted via annualphotoawards.com website. By creating an account on this website and providing your e-mail address you agree to receive competition news and notifications. You may unsubscribe at any time by using the opt-out link at the bottom of e-mails.

Photos should be submitted to the website as JPEG format at 1200 pixels along the longest side.

You can use any type of camera (digital and analogue) or mobile phone to create your photos. The minimum photo requirement is JPG, 3000px wide on the longest side (this will be asked only if your photo will be among winners). Both color and black and white photos will be accepted.

Entry to the Annual Photography Awards Competition is subject to payment of entry fees.

Photos that have been rewarded in other major Competitions are eligible to the Competition.

Submitted photos must be the work of the participant and must have no identifying marks or key words allocated to them. No borders, watermarks or signatures should be included on the image.

Post-production and digital manipulation is allowed (the integrity and subject matter must be kept).

The entrant must not have breached any laws when taking their photographs.

Photos may be submitted in every category in 2 sections: Single and Series (2-8 themed photos). You can enter as many Single photos and Series in as many categories as you like.

Annual Photography Awards reserves the right to cancel or suspend the Competition due to technical issues or any other causes beyond the control of technical team.

All rewarded photos (Category Winners and Honorable Mention) will be published on the Annual Photography Awards website.

All photos not awarded will be removed from website after the winners have been announced.

Annual Photography Awards reserves the right to modify the Competition rules at any time.

Annual Photography Awards reserves the right to remove or refuse any Entries from the competition for any reason. Entries will be refused or removed if in the sole judgement of the Annual Photography Awards they could reasonably be expected to breach into disrepute.

By entering your images to the Annual Photography Awards competition you are deemed to have accepted the rules. Please do not submit a photo to the competition unless you are prepared to agree to these terms.
ELIGIBILITY
The Competition is open to professional and amateur photographers and only to those who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry. The Competition is open to legal residents from all over the world, and is void where prohibited by their local law. Employees and Judges of Annual Photography Awards (Annual Photography Awards) are not eligible to participate in the Competition.

By participating, you accept these Terms and Conditions and you warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements. You must be the author of the photos submitted to the contest.
PRIZES
The Grand Prize Winner of the Competition will receive $2500, and every category Winner will receive $500. Cash prizes will be paid by PayPal (account required).
WINNERS NOTIFICATION
The decisions of the judges and editorial team are final. All Winners will be notified by email within 3 weeks before official winners announcement. Winners will be asked to deliver high resolution file (JPG, 3000px wide of the longest side) of Winning Photos (to verify the quality of original photo) and PayPal account. If the Winner cannot be contacted within 10 days from the time of notification was sent and fails to timely return all required informations, the nomination may be forfeited.
JUDGING
All judges will be appointed by Annual Photography Awards. Entries will be judged anonymously. The decisions of the Annual Photography Awards is final.
COPYRIGHTS AND USAGE RIGHTS
Participant retains copyright of all submitted images and descriptions.

By entering the competition, you grant Annual Photography Awards and its partners a non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable licence to publish images for any purpose directly connected with the competition. This include: display on the Annual Photography Awards website and on the websites of partners; on social media used by Annual Photography Awards and its supporters; for use in marketing and communication purposes.

Annual Photography Awards will always mention the entrant’s full name in connection with the publication of the submitted images. We will use your first and last name as supplied during the entry process.

You may request deletion of your Annual Photography Awards account at any time.
