God's Plan

This is one single shot. The composition I chose gives incredible depth and perspective from this road leading toward the light. I decided to use the backlight as it brings contrast, elegance, mood, and balance between highlights and shadows through the frame.

These moody moments provide the strongest emotion elevators ever.

We drove to this amazing area of Senja island, in Northern Norway. We Started from the road, I poped my snowboard on my back and started hiking up these amazing hills covered with snow.
I find so much interesting side with this kind of weather which sometimes can be so hard on you.
I can get stuck in a whiteout for twenty minutes, and literally think :
"Why am I doing that ?!"
One minute later, the sky opens up, and dramatic light casts in, and I think :
"ah, this is why..."

My camera is always in my backpack and some days I am really wondering why should I take it with me. These are the days that usually provide the best shooting opportunities.

MY TRAVELS HELPED ME TO FIND MY TASTES AND LED ME TO WHERE I AM NOW;
DRIVING AND GUIDING SNOWMOBILES IN LAPLAND; TEACHING AND PHOTOGRAPHING THE AURORAS IN THE ARCTIC REGIONS; WHITE WATER RAFTING ON ICELANDIC AND NORWEGIAN RIVERS; AND BACKPACKING IN BETWEEN SEASONS.

I CONCENTRATE MAINLY ON ADVENTURE, LANDSCAPE AND NIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY.
A CAMERA IN MY HANDS HAS ALWAYS BEEN A WAY TO EXPRESS MY FEELINGS THE EMOTIONS LINKED TO A PLACE, A FRIEND OR A SPECIAL MOMENT.
I WOULD SAY THAT PATIENCE AND CREATIVITY IS ALL YOU NEED.
