Obstinacy

This photo has a huge cost for me. Since a long time I've wanted to take a picture of the sunrise on Stellisee. On my October's trip in Zermatt, I decided to hike at night, but I did not take enough time to go there, forgetting that hiking by night was more difficult than in day time. Eventhough I ran the last km, I failed to reach the lake on time.
I didn't want to renounce. So two days later, I calculated the route precisely and reached the lake on time. But I was not careful enough with my carbon tripod and camera, and in the darkness I did not check the stability quite well. So my camera fell in the lake. And I lost both my lense and camera that day before I could take one photo.
I went back to France, bought a new camera and went to Zermatt again. I started a new hike at 3.45 am. And this time was the good one. I reached the lake on time and that day, the sunrise was exceptionally breathtaking. Conclusion : In life, never renounce your dreams, always try until you succeed.
