Mountain Pass

The stark landscape was photographed in the Canadian Rockies. I liked the way the sheer cliffs of the surrounding mountains were projected by the blanket of fog and emphasize their formidable size in comparison to the vehicles, below. The weather-worn foreground pines, silhouetted against the severe landscape, add to the mood of the image.
