Stray Siren on a Clear Day

The series is about my own relentless struggle and exploration of boundaries, limitations, doubts, obligations, and solitude using a symbolic adaptation of the story of Fumiko, a mermaid character from traditional Japanese storytelling. The red bath water refers to the multitude of meanings linked to the color in traditional Japanese culture combined with the subtle bodily gestures of the siren. Features Shanghai model Qian Zhao as the exceptional siren.
