Morning Coffee

I enjoyed my breakfast with an old-fashioned newspaper, a cup of coffee, and some fruit. An early spring morning light in our kitchen was amazing, and I simply wanted to paint that on film. I carefully placed a sheet of a Polaroid -type Instax film into my old Graflex Crown Graphics press camera and shot this picture. The Instax film is an excellent surface that yields images that look like oil paintings.
