Today we live in a world full of too many things and too little value! We do not take time to focus on what is important, to think about our lives, nature and it´s resources… We as humankind just take everything which nature gifts to us for granted and ignore the consequences. Thinking about this feels heartbreaking to me and I felt kind of hopeless. But nevertheless I wanted to try and do something which is within my abilities to try and make these problems more visible. That is why I have created this fine art photography series “MELTED” to visualize how we, as humankind treat our planet earth – a dystopian approach.
The project is not about trying to make people reduce the amount of plastic they use. It is inviting to think about where we are coming from and where we will end up. By using the symbol of melting, and taking nature from outside to the inside and the other way round a surreal setting which confuses and confronts the viewer with something unexpected was created.

To reveal the essence of digital and analogue photography her approach is to reveal a part of her, a part of the viewer, a part of any beautiful soul who sails in the ethereal flow of life. While she travels across the oceans of time, her passion lies in artfully extracting the most profound emotions in human beings. Capturing the moment when they emerged, only to be ensnared in a seemingly motionless state. Yet they live...they live vividly in the eyes of the beholder, breathing a deeper movement of inner life through her fine art photography.

She discovers the wonders that grace our planet and unveils all those hidden places where nature has weaved a magical atmosphere. Sometimes the fine art of portraiture gracefully adorned with nature’s ambience is a masterpiece on its own, and other times the clash of the human expressive soul and surrounding gives birth to a surreal idea in her mind.
