Obelisk of Light

What is the essence of photography?
Many would argue and point out that it is all about capturing that special moment, emotion, etc., however, all of this would be impossible without light, the very essence of photography. Obelisk of Light series explores effects of light on architectural geometries and volumes in search of minimum balance between dark and light required for human mind to interpret the subject, moment and emotion.

The series consists of 3 photos:
