mother earth
mother earth
The image entitled Mother Earth tries to draw attention to the importance of environmental protection: to preserve the integrity and innocence of our forests full of wildlife, the purity of our waters, we try to curb human destruction as much as possible. The woman dressed in red also draws attention to the destruction of the environment: there is no time to procrastinate, we have to do it today to protest our Earth, the color red is symbolically a silent cry on the part of our planet too: save me!
Author
Bálint Előd Erdély (b. 1976, Székelyudvarhely)
I live in Odorheiu Secuiesc (Romania) as a photographer and visual artist. I started my career as a television cameraman, then worked in feature film productions, which fundamentally shaped my relationship with light, space and visual rhythm. Later, as a full-time photojournalist, I documented events, social situations and human stories for daily newspapers.
One of the fundamental pillars of my photography is the observation of human relationships and attitudes: exploring the subtle, invisible connections between people and people and between people and the environment.
