FISSURES, ANALOGIES BODY / ARCHITECTURE

My project, of an autobiographical nature, speaks of mental fragility, and part of a time in my life where I hit rock bottom and literally broke into pieces and I fell apart Fissures was a catharsis and I will materialize these feelings
in a series of self-portraits. In my project I have made a series of diptychs in which I establish an analogy body / building, trying to establish a parallel between the demolition of a construction and collapse of the body and, consequently, of the mind. Fissures is loaded with metaphorical elements such as the crack or the wound. To show the idea of ​​emotional fragility, I made a series of porcelain brains which I later threw on the ground to take photographs of the fragments, metaphor of emotional weakness to which every individual is exposed in specific moments of his life.
