Labyrinth

The photo was taken in Berlin at the Holocaust Memorial. I went deeper and deeper into the labyrinth of concrete blocks. The light conditions became darker and darker, it was narrow and cold. I wanted to intensify the mood and made a multiple exposure, the concrete blocks wanted to crush you. People flitted between the concrete blocks and disappeared again - a gloomy mood. This is exactly the mood the artist Peter Eisenman wanted to create.

The transformation of what is seen into a new image, into which moods and feelings flow. A very exciting process. Photographic art in particular offers many possibilities.
