Baby Mountain Gorilla Missing its Mother

In Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Uganda, a family of Mountain Gorillas as active and feeding. The silverback was close by on over-watch. The mother of this baby was happy to leave it and venture a few yards away for food, but the baby looked concerned. The population of this endangered species is actually increasing, thanks to anti-poaching measures and carefully controlled tourism.
