The Hydra of Hanna Point
The Hydra of Hanna Point
Some forty metres from the beach up a steep incline was a permanent wallow for southern elephant seals where they huddled together like a pit of large, shapeless slugs. They were a fractious bunch, snorting and bellowing, with mouths gaping wide as one of their pack wallowed to a more comfortable position.
