NYC Meets Covid

Everything about this Covid-19 pandemic feels so surreal. You watch the news and see things on social media and ask yourself, "is this really happening?" But then you step outside your door and walk through the empty and quiet streets of a city you don't even recognize and realize just how real it actually is. This is our eerie and unfortunate reality. New York is my home, but at the moment it's almost unrecognizable. And yet as I set out to capture these historic moments in time, I couldn't help but contemplate the possibility that perhaps this stillness had always been there. Was I too caught up with life, too caught up with chaos, that I just never noticed ? I honestly can't recall, but I can say that I really miss New York.
