Description and Inspiration
An incredibly beautiful country! This is Italy. A country that welcomes those in search of hope.
A country envied the world over, inextricably tied to Europe, an overbearing ally, always aloof, detached and inflexible.
A country always resolute. Ever ready to begin again after a fall and stand up once more, knowing well that, in whatever situation, it is always able to show the world its inner strength.
The inspiration for the series arose from the conditions in which Italy now finds itself.
The balance of powers in the world is changing ever more rapidly and our beautiful country, that draws its strength from its traditions and its creativity, is increasingly assailed by economic problems; it has to deal with migratory waves and the ever-increasingly demanding EU.
Now, more that ever, we need to return to those fundamental values that made our “Piccola Italia” a pride in the eyes of the world, with its values that stem from centuries-old traditions.
