Atlanta reacts

On May 25th 2020, George Floyd was killed by Minneapolis police. The world watched and listened as Mr.Floyd was held down by the neck for over 8 minutes. In that 8 minutes he said "I cant breathe" over ten times. Outrage swept the nation and protests erupted in cities all over the country. On May 29th a protest march in Atlanta,Georgia took place. A peaceful march from the CNN center and back. Late in the day an altercation between police and protesters led to over a week of continuous protests and violence. These images are from May 29th and the days after on the streets of Atlanta.
