The Srebrenica genocide is one of the most vile episodes in contemporary European history.
Within a few days, in July 1995, more than 8,300 boys and men were, in a fertile age, were executed while 30,000 people made up of women, children and the elderly were forced to abandon their villages by force . Many of these women, after being raped, then committed suicide
For several years, in July, the poor remains of slaughtered men, found and exhumed during the year, have been returned to their families. Mothers, wives and children have decided to bury their loved ones together. They buried them in this place, located in front of the old Dutch UN headquarters, where they had seen them alive for the last time before they were delivered cowardly by the Dutch to their executioners.
