Gatsric bypass surgery is a radical procedure done in cases of chronic obesity when dieting and exercise are simply not sufficient to achieve one’s desired weight.

I first met Rita about a year after her bypass surgery. With a nigh-90kg loss behind her at that point, she was nowhere near satisfied with the results, as it became increasingly clear to her that she has to go through at least six plastic surgery operations for her self confidence to return and start living life to the fullest again.
