The loneliness of the mountain's shepherd.

George is a romanian shepherd working and living in the Sibillini mountains, Italy. He spent his entire life as a shepherd, since he came in Italy for work many years ago from Romania, leaving his family and friends. The story of George is a story of exploitation, illegal hiring and loneliness. During the winter season he is forced to live with his flock of sheeps in a small room situated at the foot of the mountains, while in the summer season his shelter is a tiny and cold garage of the house of his employer. George daily life's is made of patient, fatigue and job's devotion; in fact with the help of his dogs he never loses sight of his flock, regardless of weather conditions. It's not easy for an human being bears life conditions like that. In the photo George is talking to the phone with his boss in order to move the flock down to valley as winter coming.
