Epecuen - Tierra muerta

Epecuen in Argentina - the ruined landscape.
This series presents images of the city - Villa Epecuen & Carhue and the landscape on the shore of the lagoon. The city was biuld in 1921 as a tourist hotspot.
In 1985, due to a local climate change, the city and the surrounding area were flooded and completely destroyed. Reconstruction is not planned and so you can visit the ruins today.
