Wonderful waters

This is another world. I stand humbly before the rugged peaks. They express their strength: through their naked rocks, through their hard shadows, through their reduced colors in the flat sunlight.
Never before has anything impressed me so much.

Since my youth I have been passionate about photography and love to go stalking with camera.

I used to enjoy black and white photography and experimented a lot in my little darkroom. My "darkroom" today has changed: I take a lot of time for a workflow with Lightroom and Photoshop. However, the "tools" for this have remained the same: Dodge and Post Exposure. I still like to use these effects very much.

Because I have always loved to be out in nature, I have found my true calling here: Landscape photography! This is my passion.
When I'm out photographing, I literally soak up the landscape and draw strength for everyday life.

I like the change of the landscape through light, wind and weather. And I am happy when others sharpen their perception of it by looking at my pictures.
