MIDNIGHT IN THE JUNGLE.
MIDNIGHT IN THE JUNGLE.
This is a series about the boundary between real and unreal. boundaries between colors and colorless. the real and virtual boundaries merge, creating the intersection between photography and painting.
During the epidemic quarantine, I used dolls for shooting. I find the connection between the real person and the virtual person through motion blur. a world that is not real but can also be real.
The series combines handcrafted paper art with costumes made by me and modern photography techniques in Asian-inspired colors.
The set of photos that bring documentary, when placed in the context of a social moment (social isolation during the 19-2020 covid outbreak) poses a problem for fashion and art photography under working conditions at home. . Through that convey the relationship between people and people. The philosophy of balance and sustainability of nature and, ultimately, human psychological and physiological interaction with nature.
Author
Biography: Chiron Duong
I am Chiron Duong ( real Name: Dat Duong ). Born in 1996 in Vietnam. I went to architectural college in Vietnam and now i’m working as an architect and a fashion photographer. The inspiration in my fashionable works comes from the Vietnamese or Asian traditional culture that I have learned from the passion and people. The Asian tones are not only extremely flamboyant, floating but also generous, ruminant, and meaningful. In other ways, i want to transmit the feelings of mystery of folk, faith, and religion in the lives of ASIANS by colors and spiritual fashionable photos as well as the interference of Western and Eastern culture, especially Vietnamese culture. I practice many techniques in photography to create emotion in my works instead of trying to create a visual impress.
