Requiem
Requiem
I love photographing the nude form in nature; the two seem both juxtaposed, yet intrinsically intertwined.
I woke up one morning in December to find that the temperature had plummeted overnight, leaving the world outside swathed in fog. There were the conditions I'd be waiting for for almost a year! Within 30 minutes I was in the car driving to the forest, where I found the sunlight filtering through the mist has set the trees alight. I shot this image curled on a tree stump overgrown with moss, racing to capture the fading glow.
Almost as soon as I'd finished shooting the magic light retreated, leaving me alone in the grey forest once again.
