Quietude

Mohammed Amin Mosque is a relatively new mosque in the city of Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. Being one the prominent landmarks dotting the city and a place of worship, I wanted to give this structure a fine art treatment in monochrome by accentuating the intricate details of the dome and spires. The title "Quietude" reflects on the structure and the solitude that believers receive upon viewing especially at these challenging times of the pandemic when one can just help view the mosque from outside due to restrictions to places of worship.
