We have done a lot in the name of development without caring about many things for many years or decades. We often take things in stride and try not focus too much on the problem.
We care more about name or reputation and of course money than the sustainability of convenience. We need more long-term thinking about the consequences of what we do.
For example, keeping in mind the future of Dhaka city, it is important to realize the severity of the pollution of the river Buriganga and to reduce it significantly, public solidarity and social awareness is very important
I hope these pictures will encourage the process of thinking about what we need to survive. My childhood and adolescence grew along the banks of the Buriganga, the heart of Dhaka city. This Buriganga is still closely associated with life. Today, my project aims to end the unspoken pain of this river and its destruction.
