Lake Michigan abstraction
Lake Michigan abstraction
Contrary to popular belief, Lake Michigan and Huron are actually one single lake (six miles across at the narrowest part), making it the word's largest body of freshwater with changes in weather and storms that have ended the lives of thousands of mariners. This lake, along with the other three lakes making up the Great Lakes are one of the world's greatest natural resources.
The changes in water currents, wind and light can happen quickly on a body of water this size, and these minimalistic abstractions viscerally document a few of those ephemeral moments –– calmer-weather multiple-moods captured with just two elements: hue and texture.
