On a recent safari, with my wife, to Thornybush Private Reserve just west of Kruger National Park I came upon a number of beautiful animals that showed me both the beauty and raw, visceral nature of wild life in the bush. I shot this photo with a Nikon D7100 and Tamron 18-400 mm telephoto lens.
