The Monkey’s Glance
The Monkey’s Glance
This photo was taken in Nagano, Japan, winter 2019.
This Macaque snow monkey probably found the perfect spot that operates also as a camouflage and a shelter against The nature elements.
I was tracking this young fellow for a while and once he got into this wood, the only thing that I had in my mind was-one Small glance trough this hole!
I had to wait in this sub-zero temperature for more than half an hour with my heavy telephoto lens pointed at this hole While snowing with a hope that the monkey will do what I really hoped for and finally he did!
Therefor I name it after the “The Monkey’s Glace”.
