I met Pureve in 2018 on my first visit to the Dukha Community in Northern Mongolia. She took amazing care of us, bringing firewood in the middle of the night to keep our teepee warm and always welcoming us into her home any time of day. On this visit, I was able to see how immense her love and compassion touches those around her as she spent time with her Grandson Tugsbilguun. Their relationship was so beautiful, nurturing and filled with patience. It was hard not to be captivated by them both.
