Living Memory
Living Memory
The goal was that I wanted to allow people to place themselves into the images emotionally. Feelings ranging from stress, anxiety, comfort, and at ease. I did some research into color theory, and what different colors can make you feel. Red - Anger, fear. Blue - Cold, alone. Green - Tranquil, at pease. To accomplish this, I needed some kind of color changing light source. Since I'm a college student working on a pretty strict budget, I opted for making the lights myself.
The end result is something I'm pretty proud of. Each picture inspiring an emotional response from the viewer. And if you look at it long enough, you may even feel like you were there.

About 3 years ago I walked into my local best buy and picked up a Sony a6000. That night, I was sitting in my living room and playing with shutter speed and aperture. I turned all the lights off, put the shutter to 10 seconds and started the exposure. When I saw the living room come back to being fully lit just by a light outside, I knew I wanted to be a photographer. Now i'm rockin a a6400 and loving every second of using it!
