Sandstone Towers Loop
Sandstone Towers Loop
Tse` Bii' Ndzisgaii is the Navajo name for Monument Valley. It means Valley of the Rocks. Monument Valley is a Navajo Tribal Park. The sandstone buttes are stratified with three different types of rock at the bottom, middle and top. These rock towers rise up to 1000 ft (305 meters) above the valley floor. This very unique landscape is found on the Arizona/Utah border. There is a super 17 mile gravel road loop around the valley.

. I love discovering new places, cultures, people, food and activities.. I fell in love with the outdoors at a very young age. My first major hike (at age 7) in the Grand Tetons created a deep passion and longing for more great nature explorations. I got seriously into photography with my first digital camera while taking pictures of sunsets at the turtle sanctuary in Maui. Traveling has really given me so much meaning to life!! Moving to Southern California has given me the opportunity of endless exploration. Back in my hometown Chicago. Finding beauty everywhere.
