Light, Space and Moment . Series of Architecture Photography
Light, Space and Moment . Series of Architecture Photography
These artworks belongs to my "Light, Space and Moment" series of architecture photography. This topic accompanies me for a very long time. And still today it is very interesting to me.
Every moment is unique. It is defined by a specific surrounding space, the time of day and the respective lighting. A photograph can only reflect a very restricted section of this unique moment. In an abstract way it will stay open in significance and meaning. Thus it can touch all people´s minds in the world.
I always prefer to use low-cost and every day equipment for photography, such as ordinary mobile phone cameras. The photographic process to me is democratic and documentary. The motive itself is irretrievable and unique. It should by chance reflect one single view in a billion possible views from other people at the same time.
The photographs were taken at Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao in March 2019, at Vienna University of Technology in 1990 and on an excursion to California in March / April 1992
