Born January 23rd of 1969 in Sao Paulo, Brasil, Alexandre has lived a semi-nomadic existence since his teenage years. Having spent the first half of his life between Brazil and Mexico, today he plans to keep traveling in search of new images that transmit the essence of the things he sees. Since childhood, his love for nature and movement are made evident and mark his destiny: adventure traveling. And it is during these long travels that what would become his greatest passion is also made evident: photography. It is not the same to see than to observe, and in Alexandre’s work what can be observed is detail, that which the eye cannot see at first glance but is waiting to be photographed. With a profoundly naked and uniquely timeless vision, Alexandre photographs without artifice and gifts us, simply, with a portrait of the heart of things. And he will keep traveling, and photographing, to present us with more.
