This series aims to depict the beauty of British woodland, with a focus on the gradual but profound changes throughout the year. From springtime mist to carpets of bluebells, from the unfurling of leaves to moody winter fog, and when the first snow falls. I find great satisfaction in discovering simplicity within their complexity, often waiting patiently for the right conditions. Each photograph here has been captured over several years, where I have waited for the ideal conditions required to maximise the beauty of the composition.
