La esposa estupenda (The great wife) is a series of photographs that reflect on the role of women in family dynamics where there is a tension between love, duty, freedom and identity.

Women strive to balance their family responsibilities with their desires and aspirations, both personal and professional.

In these attempts to embrace it all, a sense of loss arises.

These photographs emerged from a performance action I carried out with my children, in which they threw objects linked to the domestic environment, and I captured them suspended in the air. I was inspired by "Semiotics of the Kitchen" by Martha Rosler and "Throwing Three Balls in the Air to Get a Straight Line" by John Baldessari.
