Universe unveiled
Universe unveiled
Since the dawn of humanity, the sky has been a source of wonder—guiding civilizations, marking time with solstices, steering sailors by starlight, and now inspiring space exploration. Today, technology allows us to explore the universe like never before: super telescopes reveal distant galaxies, and even basic cameras make the night sky accessible to many. But as astrophotography gains new admirers, light pollution continues to erase the stars for millions. In cities, truly dark skies are increasingly rare. It's estimated that less than 40% of people worldwide have seen the Milky Way—dropping to just 20% in the Americas and Europe.
Through my work, I invite viewers on a visual journey across the cosmos—but also raise awareness of the urgent need to protect our planet: our only home in this vast, revealed universe.
Author
In 2020, during the isolation brought by the pandemic, I discovered photography as a hobby while taking early morning walks with my children along a trail near our home. Photographing birds soon turned into a deep passion. Today, in addition to birdwatching, I also dedicate myself to astrophotography and landscape photography. Through sharing my work on social media, I aim to raise awareness about the importance of protecting nature and to leave a lasting legacy of environmental appreciation.
