Beauty in Becoming is a photographic series celebrating the elegance and authenticity of aging. Through intimate portraits, it highlights the wrinkles and textures that society often encourages us to hide, revealing the depth and beauty found in every stage of life. Playful dress-up scenes capture the joy and personality of my two grandmothers, challenging assumptions about how aging should look or feel. The project also showcases generational connections through family portraiture, honoring the stories, wisdom, and identity that pass from one generation to the next. Beauty in Becoming invites viewers to see aging not as fading, but as becoming: rich, vibrant, and profoundly human.
