Trace
Trace
We leave traces everywhere we go. A coffee ring abandoned between meetings. A doodle carved into a desk during a moment of boredom. A footprint of rainwater and dirt trailing behind us on after a storm. Even the unintentional presence we offer as background characters in a tourist’s selfie standing in front of a statue we’ve long stopped noticing. The photographs presented here reveal those same traces but translated into energy. Each image centers what I call my Main Characters: The individuals who embody freedom, surrender, and the spontaneity of nightlife. They allow the pulse of the speakers to animate them. Their bodies moving as if tethered to an unseen rhythm, like marionettes bound to sound. I chase moments that exude the raw In these spaces. These photographs are not just images. They are the physical manifestations of the energy that once existed in the air vibrant, chaotic and fleeting. The moments that would have gone unnoticed if not captured in the instant it was created.
