For Mexicans, it is common to see streets filled with cempasúchil flowers and people visiting cemeteries every November. This celebration is part of our everyday life, a deeply rooted tradition. Yet it goes beyond ritual. Even though we repeat the same practices year after year, the atmosphere always shifts. From the morning of November first, the surroundings feel different—charged with a quiet, spiritual aura that fills the streets, the flowers, and the people who walk among them. My work seeks to capture that moment, where the ordinary and the sacred meet.
