What the eye sees is not what the brain shows us. In case of disturbance or inconsistency, an entire neural process works to find a sense.
For example : if I write 'M3SSAG3', the brain will read 'MESSAGE'.
I wanted to use this particularity so I cut images of human bodies that our brain rebuilts without any difficulties.

In addition, I wanted to give hommage to the pionneers of photography and their very experimental techniques by giving a vintage effect to these photographs which are like wet collodion, daguerrotype, platinotype or sepia tint.
