Enthroned on a mound, a female cheetah surveils the savanna in South Africa’s Kruger National Park for her next pursuit. Perhaps the most graceful of all large predators, the low level perspective and profile view perfectly accent the cheetah’s unique shape, uncompromisingly built for the high-speed chase.

His running project "Once Upon a Time in the Wild" is both love letter and eulogy to the world’s astonishing animals and the wild places they inhabit — unapologetic in its display of nature’s beauty, yet tinged with melancholy about our destructive influence on the foundations of life on Earth.
