Lightened forest
Lightened forest
A stand of ancient oak trunks rises quietly from the forest floor, their broad, time-worn bark softened by a veil of early-September mist. In the cool morning air of the Forêt de Rambouillet, the light is still delicate—pale and silvery—slipping between the trees in thin, gentle threads. Moisture clings to the rough surfaces, deepening the earthy browns and subtle mossy greens. The fog softens every edge, letting the oaks emerge like silent pillars, steady and unmoving, as if guarding the stillness of the waking forest. The atmosphere is fresh, serene, and faintly fragrant with damp leaves and the first hints of autumn.
Author
Curious about the world around me, I am an eternal learner. My scientific training as a geophysicist and my long-standing interest in art, literature and poetry inspire me to observe the world through my camera.
My scientific background has given me a deep understanding of the natural forces that shape our Earth, and it enriches my approach to photography, allowing me to reveal the magic hidden behind every landscape, every rock, and every cloud.
Inspired by the masters of painting who mastered the art of chiaroscuro, I seek to create images that capture the very essence of light and shadow, bringing to life landscapes that seem to come straight out of a dream. Each shot is a canvas, and each moment is an opportunity to explore the subtle details of our planet, while telling a unique story.
Through my photographs, I want to take you with me on these visual journeys, to let you feel the emotion of each place I capture.
