Railway That Remembers
Railway That Remembers
“Railway That Remembers” explores the quiet persistence of industrial landscapes long after their purpose has faded. Shot in the early morning fog, the series follows a single forgotten railway line as it curves through abandoned brick buildings, rusting wagons, and skeletal metal structures. Light and mist soften the decay, revealing not only what remains but what has already slipped into memory.
The photographs form a visual journey where the rails become a timeline: an entry into the past, a confrontation with the remnants of human industry, and finally a dissolution into silence. This is a portrait of a place that has stopped moving, yet continues to tell stories for those who walk slowly enough to listen.
