Sensitive Matter explores states of suspension, fragility, and emotional distance.
The images do not seek resolution, but remain in moments of silence and estrangement, where bodies appear exposed to light, space, and invisible tension.
Figures—often seen from the back or partially concealed—occupy environments that feel open yet inaccessible, intimate yet distant.
The series understands sensitivity not as weakness, but as a material condition: something that registers pressure, absence, and presence at the same time.

Materia sensible explora estados de suspensión, fragilidad y distancia emocional.
Las imágenes no buscan resolver, sino permanecer en un punto de silencio y extrañamiento, donde los cuerpos quedan expuestos a la luz, al espacio y a tensiones invisibles.
Las figuras—frecuentemente de espaldas o parcialmente ocultas—habitan entornos abiertos pero inaccesibles, íntimos y a la vez distantes.
La sensibilidad no aparece como debilidad, sino como una condición material: algo que registra presión, ausencia y presencia simultáneamente.

I was born in 1980, and my connection to photography began at the age of 9, when my mother gave me my first camera. Since then, images have been a way to explore the world. Over the decades, I have cultivated this passion in a self-taught manner, developing a practice that grew alongside my studies in Philosophy and Psychology. These disciplines have deeply influenced my perspective, nurturing my interest in perception, consciousness, and the more subtle aspects of the human condition.
Over the years, my photographic approach has evolved. Philosophical and psychological reflection shaped my interest in complex emotional states, fragility, and the invisible distances that dwell within human relationships. Photography, then, became a space in which to explore these themes, capturing not only the visible, but also what is hinted at and fades away in the silence of the image.
