Requiem
Requiem
"Requiem" explores the quiet tension between presence and disappearance.
Martyna becomes both the witness and the echo of herself, suspended between identity and its fading outline.
The work reflects on the intimate moment when a human form carries more memory than movement, when the body becomes a vessel for what has already passed yet refuses to vanish completely.
It is a visual elegy about duality, vulnerability and the last vibration of a self that is shifting into something unknown.
Author
I am a Polish fine art photographer exploring the body as a living architecture of memory, vulnerability and transformation.
My work often merges sculptural form with emotional restraint, creating quiet narratives that balance intimacy and distance.
I focus on themes of identity, duality and the silent tension between presence and absence.
My photographs have been exhibited internationally and recognized by competitions such as BIFA, PX3 and the Annual Photography Awards.
I create from Barczewo, where I continue to develop long-term series rooted in human fragility, ritual and the layered nature of the self.
