Behind the City

This series deconstructs and reconstructs the landscape of modern urban life in the digital age. It visualizes inner states shaped by social structures, consumerism, time pressure, isolation, and desire, all unfolding on the stage of the city.

Each scene was captured in real urban spaces. By combining virtual symbols and metaphorical objects, the work reveals the hidden layers behind the city’s dazzling surface—questioning anonymous existence and life’s direction within a system-driven world.

Through digital collage, the city is reimagined as both a real and symbolic space—a vast interface where life and emotion intersect.
