Dibujos de luz is an exploration of lines, strokes and shapes that structure our environment and define the spaces we inhabit. Lines become protagonists, guiding the gaze and establishing a dialogue between the real and the abstract. The lights and shadows act as constructive elements, drawing volumes, marking boundaries and revealing the essence of shapes, geometries and textures through black and white.

Each image invites you to stop and walk through the spaces with attention, showing how strokes, lights and shadows generate rhythm, order and balance in everyday life. The series highlights details that often go unnoticed, transforming architecture into a visual language capable of communicating emotion and thought.

Dibujos de luz does not represent a specific building or city, nor even a specific region; it represents a way of being in the world. A way of looking.

I am Alejandro Brenes Sanmartín, and my photographic work revolves around the exploration of space, light, and memory. I am interested in transforming everyday life into visual metaphors, capturing silences, geometries, and fragments of time that invite contemplation. My gaze moves between the real and the abstract, using photography as an introspective language capable of revealing the invisible and generating an intimate dialogue between the image and the viewer.
