This series documents Vegas's greatest neon concentration, built 1955-1990. Not ads—cultural artifacts encoding civil rights, women pioneers, immigrant dreams. Based on extensive historical research.

THE 8 SIGNS:
- IN LOVE (Moulin Rouge letters)—First integrated casino 1955. Civil rights landmark. Betty Willis design.
- STARDUST—Grace Silver's atomic logotype.
- FITZGERALD'S—First Black casino owner Don Barden, 1996.
- QUEEN OF HEARTS—First woman casino owner Ann Meyers, 1976.
- THE JERRY'S—Greek immigrants. 60 years. Still family-owned.
- SAHARA—Beatles. Rat Pack. 59 years of history.
- GOLDEN NUGGET—80 years on Fremont. Vegas's oldest.
- MINIMART—"Free Aspirin & Tender Sympathy." Vernacular poetry.

In 2011, 40 neon benders worked at YESCO. By 2021, only 3 remain.

Continuing Scott Brown's legacy—commercial vernacular as cultural artifact.
