Urban Geometry from Above
Urban Geometry from Above
Seen from above, the rooftops of Belgrade reveal a hidden architecture — a geometry that is almost impossible to perceive from the street. Lines, shadows, reflections and patterns form an abstract language created by the city itself. In this series, I explore these structures as autonomous visual compositions, where construction grids become drawings, skylights turn into graphic accents, and everyday roofs transform into large, silent canvases. The human figures that occasionally appear serve as small anchors of scale inside this vast aerial geometry. My intention is to show the city not as a documentary subject, but as a living system of forms, rhythms and colors — a place where architecture naturally becomes abstraction.
